An unusual day at work was this Monday for LinenKids team members – Jovile and Tomas. They were traveling to Latvia to meet the students from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga). A million thanks to Karolis fro Riga, who gave us a warm welcome!
Cooperation with SSE Riga is one of LinenKids social responsible projects. We embrace responsibility for the impact of our activities on the environment, consumers, employees, community, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere.
LinenKids is always involved in public life and this project is just one example. LinenKids suggested to introduce SSE Riga students with E-commerce challenges and opportunities, giving them a real E-commerce case. This was accepted by SSE Riga academic society as a great idea! LinenKids marketing strategy was revealed to students, they were invited to develop their own strategies, to create innovative ways and to overcome challenges in E-commerce.
Big compliments to SSE Riga students, who were filled with curiosity about E-commerce and LinenKids. We were glad to give Linen Tomcats for most active people from the audience. This project will help students to expand their knowledge in E-commerce, it will give them more practice and it is a great opportunity to be involved in a real business. Equally LinenKids is waiting to hear SSE Riga students big ideas to achieve bigger results and to expand our team!
